What NOT To Bring

Preparing for your adventure at Tidal River Christian Camp is an exciting part of your camp experience. We prioritize the safety and well-being of all campers. To ensure a positive and wholesome camp environment and to keep the focus of the week on GOD, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing the following items to camp:

While we understand the importance of staying connected, camp is a place to disconnect from screens and immerse yourself in the camp experience. Leave your phone at home to fully engage in camp activities and foster real connections with fellow campers.

Our Technology Policy does not allow for campers to use phones. If you bring your phone to camp we will hold onto it for you and return it Friday evening before you depart.

For everyone's safety, please do not bring knives, weapons, or any sharp objects to camp. TRCC is a peaceful and inclusive community, and such items have no place in our environment.

If you bring knives or weapons we will hold onto them and return them to your parents/guardian Friday evening when they come to pick you up.

We create a positive and uplifting atmosphere at camp. While MP3 players are permitted in the cabins at certain times of the day, we WILL check your music selection.

Inappropriate or explicit music is bad for your soul and disrupts the harmony we aim to maintain. Please leave such music at home.

TRCC has a strict no-drug policy. We do not tolerate the use of drugs or vape pens on our premises. Our focus is on fostering a healthy and drug-free environment. The only medication allowed are doctor ordered prescriptions that will be managed by the Camp Nurse.

While music is an integral part of camp, please refrain from bringing guitars and amplifiers. The churches of Christ worship with acapella music and we strive to maintain that standard at TRCC.

Camp is a life changing experience, and the focus is on faith, fun, and forming connections. Leaving expensive personal items at home ensures you can fully participate in camp activities without worry about misplacing them. Your are responsible for what you bring to TRCC.

Campers are not permitted to drive or have vehicles at TRCC, even if they are old enough to have a license. Please make the proper arrangements to be dropped off and picked up at the appropriate times.
